My name is Risse. I am a twenty-three year old girl from Seattle living in Seoul, Korea.

Less than a year after I graduated from university, I decided I needed a change of scenery. In March of 2009, I packed two suitcases and caught an eleven hour flight out to my new homeland. Over here, every day is a new adventure.



Pictured above is my sweetheart, Nick. We are practically grafted at the hip and he makes me very happy.

I make wages being a reporter for the radio station, tbs eFM. The job is easy and the pay is decent and, every now and again, I get booked for a job that involves modeling, which is even easier and better paying. As of December 2009, I am also a voice dubber for a TV show about Korean celebrities.

I have a lot of hobbies, but I’m one of those “jack of all trades, master of none” sorts. I hold a degree in graphic design and fine art and communication. I do love to draw and paint and do crafty things, but I’m pretty lazy about it. Instead, I mostly just play Nintendo DS on the subway and try not to burn things in the kitchen when I’m home.
